3 Reasons to Visit Puerto Vallarta in Spring

Restaurant Week by Vallarta Lifestyles 2024

Restaurant Week by Vallarta Lifestyles celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024, marking two decades as an unmissable event for foodies and one of the most prestigious culinary events in Puerto Vallarta and the Bay of Banderas region. For two consecutive weeks, Restaurant Week enriches and energizes Puerto Vallarta’s dining scene with a variety of special three-course menus (each course offering three choices).
Restaurant Week by Vallarta Lifestyles is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated culinary festivals in Puerto Vallarta, offering a fantastic opportunity to taste the creations of both established chefs and emerging talents making a name for themselves within the vibrant culinary scene of Puerto Vallarta.

Festival Fiestas de Mayo Puerto Vallarta 2024

The Festival Fiestas de Mayo Puerto Vallarta is a highly anticipated popular fair—especially among locals—that is held annually over two weeks to commemorate Puerto Vallarta’s dual anniversary as a city and a municipality. In recent years, the Fiestas de Mayo Puerto Vallarta has concentrated its activities at the Explanada Vallarta, a charro arena located near the International Convention Center. Its musical programming includes a variety of events for the whole family and live music featuring the most popular performers in the regional Mexican genre.

Swim for the Whales 2024

More than just a successful sporting event, Swim for the Whales is a feat of endurance, perseverance, and environmental awareness aimed at raising funds for the conservation of humpback whales in Mexico. In 2023, open water swimmer Stephanie Moreno Bending completed a 37.5-kilometer swim from Marietas Islands National Park to Los Arcos-Playa Las Gemelas in just over 14 uninterrupted hours. This year, the Mexican athlete is preparing to surpass her previous challenge by swimming a 127- kilometer circuit off the coast of Puerto Vallarta, which will involve swimming for six
consecutive days across the Bay of Banderas.
