Generation Y or the Millennials are persons born in the 1980s and 1999. They are estimated to be 70 million strong. Age is typically 20 years old to 38 years. **Millennials are individualistic, innovative, creative, revel in diversity, multi-taskers, and go by their own rules. M´s rely on their intuitive sense to understand technology from the environment in which they have grown up. They can bring a more creative and innovative approach to solving problems than previous generations.

Generation Xers, between the Millennials and the Baby Boomers are between the ages 37 and 52 years old. Often described as reticent compared to the generations before them, their habitual reluctance can cause them to lose their ¨voice¨ in the politics of where they live and work. Generation X´s came of age in the 1980s and early 1990s. The oldest remember Watergate scandal and the youngest are raising families. They became politically aware during the Reagan-Bush or Clinton years. As adults, they are more conservative than millennials and less partisan than boomers.

A weaker peso will attract more visitors this winter. They are enjoying our temperate weather and lower prices for food and lodging. The increased ¨snow bird¨ population is putting pressure on restaurants and hotels to hire more staff.
