Located between the small towns of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Punta de Mita just 16 miles northwest of Puerto Vallarta’s International Airport, Los Veneros is simultaneously in the jungle and on the beach. This rare convergence translates into a waterfront oasis that introduces a lifestyle you’ll find irresistible.
Golfers can play a variety of stunning golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf, and Robert Von Hagge to name a few. The diverse layouts are defined by palms, lush fairways and, in some cases, oceanfront holes.
Los Veneros will be home to numerous tennis courts, which will be lit for evening play. The resort also has a pro shop and offers professional instruction.
Some of the best waves in the world are off the shores in and around Los Veneros. You catch the waves riding a surfboard or on a boogie board.
Enjoy exploring the interesting aquatic world around the Bay of Banderas while paddling a sea kayak, which we have available at Los Veneros.
A steady breeze year round creates excellent conditions. Day trips invite you to view humpback whales, dolphins, sea turtles and rays, while sunset cruises showcase the fiery sky and the twinkling lights of Puerto Vallarta.
A kiteboard or windsurfer invites you to skim across—or above — the waters, giving you a great sense of freedom.
Considered one of Mexico’s premier diving spots, Los Arcos, is an eco-reserve along the coast of Banderas Bay and the snorkeling just offshore is excellent. Just off the northern coast of Bahia de Banderas, divers enjoy the Marietas Island Marine Reserve and El Morro.
Whether in the Bay of Banderas Bay or the Pacific, the action awaits from the deck of a luxurious sportfishing boat on your way to catching Marlin, Amberjack, Sailfish and many others.
From December to April, Humpback whales frequent the Bay of Banderas, allowing you to see them breach the water and splash down as they perform their magical “sea ballet.”
For centuries Charros (Spanish for cowboys) have been riding this region’s hillsides, beaches and rainforests. Traveling with bilingual tour guides, equestrian enthusiasts enjoy a day of exploring.
